An evolved form of Japanese Jiu-Jitsu, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) was modified by the Gracie family of Brazil through many challenge matches against fighters from other styles. As a result, BJJ enables practitioners to overcome larger, more powerful opponents with minimal violence by maximizing positioning and leverage.

Mass Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu was formed to offer a practical approach to training for self defense in a fun and safe environment. By combining grappling arts like Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Submission Wrestling with striking arts including Kickboxing and Boxing we create a system that encompasses all aspects of self defense.

Students have the option of training specifically in grappling, kickboxing, or mixed martial arts (a combination of grappling and striking) Classes are focused at keeping students working throughout the class to get an effective workout.

Whether you are a beginner or experienced martial artist; if you are looking into martial arts for self defense, discipline, physical fitness or fun, Mass Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu has something to offer you.
